NEVER underestimate the problems of the gums. Therefore, a disease affecting almost half of Americans this is coming trigger heart problems.
As reported by MSN, Tuesday (22/12/09), the medical team treating patients with symptoms of the gums and doctors who deal with cardiac patients in cooperation with one message: dealing with a disease can help others avoid them.
Last year, the major journals that discuss heart disease and periodontal journals simultaneously published a consensus that describes the relationship between the two diseases. This cooperation urged the two doctors from different backgrounds to see the body as a whole, rather than an integral part.
“The contents of this theory, if you have some inflammation in one part of the body, it will destroy other parts of the body, whether the heart, gums, or anything else,” said David Cochran, DDS, former president of the American Academy of Periodontology is also Professor of the University of Texas Health Sciences Center, San Antonio.
