Lupus is a disease of the immune system. However, this disease is different with AIDS who is also immune to attack. If AIDS makes the immune decline, so in lupus patients excessive immune, or the so-called autoimmune.

This disease appears due to immune dysfunction. In lupus, antibodies or immune function should be attacking the source of the disease into the body, instead turned to attack healthy tissues, and organs such as skin, folds, kidney, brain, heart, lungs, and blood.

No one knows what causes the body to attack its own network. Someone may be born with certain genetic influence on antibody function or the risk of him having lupus. Various factors can stimulate autoimmune process. However, these effects could have happened to someone, and do not happen to other people.

There are several factors that can trigger the emergence of this disease:
Ultraviolet light, usually from the sun.
Hormonal factors.
Smoking also can increase the risk of getting lupus and may make the disease worse.
Treatment is expected to trigger lupus and the emergence of symptoms.
The infection is also suspected as a trigger.
The influence of chemical / toxic chemicals are all around, both in the water, air, and so is known as a trigger of lupus.

Lupus symptoms very broad and uncertain, appear and disappear. Common symptoms of lupus are:

Sprue
Loss of hair may occur.
Over time, some people with lupus have problems with the heart, lungs, kidneys, blood cells, or nervous system.

This disease usually attacks women’s productive and not contagious. To diagnose this disease with certainty, needed a blood test or skin biopsy to check for antibodies that arise when lupus is active.
